Heh... as a followup, CCP determined the name change was conducted improperly and rolled-back.

Reports of Molle's batphone license being revoked remain uncorroborated at this time however.

Wow people sure do become unglued when the alliance they are fighting changes a name don't they? I mean who cares if the enemy has a new name...does it matter in the end? No, it doesn't.

If .bob. (illegal alliance ticker) otherwise known as Band of Brothers Reloaded (illegal character length) did not lose any sovereignty in this change, when there is no offensive meaning to KenZoku that has been presented, then some minute amount of advantage was gained.
By not dropping to sov1 in still held systems (I counted 9 last time I checked), BoB have been able to maintain particular POS modules in these systems. Other bonus's to POS's from sovereignty should be enough for any capsuleer to understand that there is some minutia of benefit to this name-swap.
Will it effect the Delve War II? Not in the slightest most likely. This issue is that the actions of CCP have, in contrast to many peoples understanding of the rules, changed an alliance name where there was no legitimate reason to do so. If Kenzoku was an offensive name, or RKZ a real world organisation linked to illegal activities, then it would be highlighted as the reason for the changes.
RKZ existed with no issue of their name for months leading up to Haargoth-gate, why would the sudden joining of 3000+members change that?
