To be fair, later in the thread, Athre explained that those are total salaries, that had recently been paid retroactively. I believe she stated that was 75b split across 15 people for 18 months. She also said that not everyone was paid equally; people that did more work were paid more. But that works out to an average of around 275m a month. If the bank had been working the way it was supposed to, I don’t think that’s unreasonable.

That whole “working the way it was supposed to” is kinda critical, though.

Well, good thing is they can’t ask for a bailout, since there’s nobody to fork over cash.

Thing about “banks” in eve is, you _will_ get fucked. It might take a month, a year, several years… but seriously, you will. When critical mass is reached one or several people will find a way to make like a banana and split with the cash – everyone has their price.
