Gotta love moving lots of battleships around. The mind starts to wonder around the 20th uneventful jump. Just wanted to thank those who have listened in on the WDA podcasts and provided feedback, was great to hear from folks and good to hear that Urban and I are doing a good job so far. :)

Been messing around with heat, but to be honest I cannot find a use for it in normal situations. Maybe in those omgimmagonnagetwtfpwned moments, I suppose. In other news, I finally got around to doing another Nature Vraie part, sorry for taking so long. :)

Thought I’d develop a post I did in a great little thread by Tarminic this week about what it would be like if CCP designed a car. :) Happy Canada Day to my Canadian cohorts, as well! I still say it rhymes with ice, not niece. :) Anyway, was a pretty interesting week in EVE with the whole EVE TV episode 1 premiere happening on Saturday. It was not without its flaws, but was an awesome effort by the folks involved. I look forward to seeing more.

I hope everyone sets a nice big long skill to train for this week, because Revelations II is coming. The patch notes seem to indicate this is a gigantic patch, so it’s always prudent to cover your own butt in terms of skill training. That being said, I look forward to seeing how the changes to things like sovereignty and heat work in the game.

Just a quick note to everyone, for some reason if you try this site in the IGB (ingame browser), it will stick a www. in front of the address after you accept trust, and the site won’t display. Just remove the www. and hit enter, should work. Bookmark the site then, and you won’t have the problem. I don’t know if this is CCP’s fault or not. :)

A bit of interesting trivia, but this is the first WDA done entirely while on an operation. Thanks to Cecil Montague for lending his likeness, whether he wanted to or not. :)

Sorry for the lack of comics lately, I’ve been in and out of town visting friends. In fact I’m away again this weekend too, whee! So far my new PC has been performing amazingly well with EVE. I’ve gone from low two-digit FPS to shockingly high three-digit FPS.

As some may already be aware by my blog on winterblink.com, I’ve been suffering from some pretty yucky PC problems. It’s definitely on its last legs, and as such I’ll be upgrading it at some point this week. And by upgrading it I mean completely replacing it with something more befitting PC gaming.

Figured this was as good a time as any to remind folks that Mother’s Day is coming up, so remember to at least buy a card and some flowers. And I swear this comic is only loosely based on real-world experiences. :)
