I hope everyone sets a nice big long skill to train for this week, because Revelations II is coming. The patch notes seem to indicate this is a gigantic patch, so it’s always prudent to cover your own butt in terms of skill training. That being said, I look forward to seeing how the changes to things like sovereignty and heat work in the game.

#123: Enter Doggie Door Password
Just a quick note to everyone, for some reason if you try this site in the IGB (ingame browser), it will stick a www. in front of the address after you accept trust, and the site won’t display. Just remove the www. and hit enter, should work. Bookmark the site then, and you won’t have the problem. I don’t know if this is CCP’s fault or not. :)
(All of that is immaterial now)
#122: Inner Happiness
A bit of interesting trivia, but this is the first WDA done entirely while on an operation. Thanks to Cecil Montague for lending his likeness, whether he wanted to or not. :)
#121: It Really Satisfies
Sorry for the lack of comics lately, I’ve been in and out of town visting friends. In fact I’m away again this weekend too, whee! So far my new PC has been performing amazingly well with EVE. I’ve gone from low two-digit FPS to shockingly high three-digit FPS.
#120: Subwoofer II
As some may already be aware by my blog on winterblink.com, I’ve been suffering from some pretty yucky PC problems. It’s definitely on its last legs, and as such I’ll be upgrading it at some point this week. And by upgrading it I mean completely replacing it with something more befitting PC gaming.
#119: She Can Smell Fear
Figured this was as good a time as any to remind folks that Mother’s Day is coming up, so remember to at least buy a card and some flowers. And I swear this comic is only loosely based on real-world experiences. :)
#118: Beware The Dark Egg Harvest
Happy Easter all, if you’re lucky like me you’ll be busy enjoying at least a four-day holiday with your family both in and out of game. I know for me I’ve been spending the weekend just vegetating, with EVE on one computer and Space: Above and Beyond playing on the other. Love that show. But however you end up enjoying your holidays, best wishes.
#117: Reporting From The Front Lines
Well it’s definitely been an interesting week in the conflict. Hell it’s been interesting from the get-go. This kind of epic stuff is precisely why I love playing EVE, and some people I know IRL love hearing about the stories that are coming out of it.
#116: So say we all
SoniClover’s latest dev blog gave me the idea for this one. Would be interesting to buy an illustrated development bible for EVE though, that sounds like a definite collector’s item. I survived my first week back at work with little or no problems, so I’m happy about that.
#115: There are worse places to get hit
Again, thanks to everyone who wrote me to welcome me back to the land of the living. It’s been a tough last couple of months, I’m just glad to be back in the swing of things. Anyway, the big BoB conflict’s been interesting to come back to, and there’s probably no end of comedic possibilities that will arise from it. :)
