Apocrypha 1.3

So you’re logging into EVE this week and your client patches.  Surprise!  Apocrypha 1.3 is upon us.

There’s a bunch of smaller fixes, but an interesting one popped up after the patch was live that should make a lot of people happy:

Freeform contracts can no longer be created. This is due to griefing problems. You will still be able to view your completed freeform contracts for now but in an upcoming expansion older freeform contracts will be removed as well.

So for those who might not understand, this removes a pretty huge scamming (or as they say, griefing) opportunity from the game.  Interesting.  The downside is that the most flexible contract type is now gone, for the most part, and players have only themselves to thank for that.   I suppose they’ll add an alternative at a later date, so we have only to wait and see.

Some more additional patch notes are available for your perusal below.
